Akshara is a small organisation with a big dream: we want a
society ‘in which women can live with dignity, free from
violence and discrimination. Akshara is a Mumbai based,
non profit, women’s organisation which has been working for
women’s education, gender equality and for prevention of
violence against women for the past 17 years.
